With more than 30 years of extensive litigation experience, John Alexander has always provided legal representation to individuals who were injured as well as to small businesses claiming damages. Many of the cases he has successfully litigated and/or settled include cases that were well publicized in both the print media and the TV media. Among the more notable are the following:


  • A case involving one of the first nationally successful suits against an HMO for wrongful death;

  • Cases against People's Gas Company for serious injuries due to fires and explosions;

  • Class Actions against Nicor involving mercury contamination;

  • Class Actions against Commonwealth Edison Comapny for injuries to individuals and to consumers;

  • Class Actions against various banking institutions for fraud to their customers and credit card holders;

  • Numerous other successful suits against nationally known companies for various types of injuries to individuals and to businesses.

  • John H. Alexander has lectured extensively publically and at various universities. Among his lecture topics are human rights abroad and the status of human rights in Israel and the occupied territories in particular. John has lectured on these topics at the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois, University of Wisconsin at Madison, and at Roosevelt University, among others.
